About Manakodex

Manakodex is a price intelligence tool for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It aggregates public listing and sales data from Cardmarket — the largest European trading card marketplace — on an hourly cadence, computes a sell-through-weighted suggested price for each tracked product, and surfaces signals like liquidity (estimated days to sell at your price) and recent trend.

Data sources

Prices come from Cardmarket listings, pulled every hour for subscribed products and weekly for the public catalog. Catalog metadata — set names, card names, rarities, illustrators, and release dates — is synced from TCGdex, an open Pokémon TCG database supporting 10+ languages. All prices are in EUR and reflect the current lowest active listing, not historical averages.

Pricing methodology

The suggested price is sell-through-weighted: it factors in actual completed sales velocity and current supply depth rather than relying on listing prices alone. The liquidity signal estimates how many days it would take to sell one unit at a given asking price, based on recent sales volume relative to current supply. Products are classified as fast, average, or slow movers relative to all tracked items.

Coverage

Manakodex catalogs 151 Pokémon TCG sets spanning every era from Base Set (1999) through Scarlet & Violet (2025–2026), with card-by-card pricing in both French and English. Chase card valuations — the sum of Special Illustration Rare and Illustration Rare low prices — are computed per set and updated with every price refresh.

Built for European sellers and collectors

Manakodex is purpose-built for the Cardmarket ecosystem. Unlike US-focused tools that track TCGPlayer or eBay, every data point here reflects the European market: EUR prices, French and English language listings, and the actual supply visible to Cardmarket buyers. Whether you are a professional seller setting asking prices or a collector tracking your want-list, the data comes from the marketplace you actually trade on.
